Sneh Chand, 67, of Mission Viejo, California, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 2, 2022, at Kindred Hospital in Westminster, CA. Born in Barotu, Fiji Islands, to her loving parents, the late Shiu and the late Sursati Prasad, Sneh was the embodiment of warmth, compassion, and grace. She graduated from Penang Sangam High School and pursued further studies at Derrick Technical Institute before immigrating to Modesto, California, in 1979 following her marriage. Sneh dedicated her professional life to caregiving as a nursing assistant, a role that reflected her deep love for helping others. With a heart full of love and a radiant smile that could light up any room, Sneh brought joy to everyone she encountered. She found happiness in cooking, gardening, traveling, and practicing yoga but her greatest pride and joy came from her family and her unwavering faith. Sneh leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and cherished memories. She is survived by her devoted husband of 45 years, Kuar Chand; her beloved children: Seema Cisneros, Reema (Rohit) Bora, and Ricky (Rosie) Chand; and her adored grandchildren: Nathalia, Anisha, Eliana, Dominic, and Eshaan. She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings: Narend (Devi) Prasad of Australia, Rajendra (Soni) Prasad of Modesto, CA, and Kusum Prasad of Australia; her sister-in-law, Anila (late Johnny) Prasad of Elk Grove, CA; and a host of extended family and friends whose lives she touched so deeply. Sneh Chand was a rare and beautiful soul, and the memories of her love, laughter, and faith will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
